Job Title Senior Executive HR (Japanese Speaking)Salary: SGD 4,500 - 5,500Reference ID: 37102Company Overview Our client, a renowned animation, film, and entertainment company specializing in IP and visual content licensing, product merchandising, and marketing across Southeast Asia, is seeking an HR Manager (Japanese Speaking). Responsibilities Manage HR administrative tasks, including payroll, leave management, employee data, and onboarding/offboarding. Support recruitment activities such as sourcing, interview coordination, and pipeline management. Assist Management with organizational planning, manpower forecasting, and HR strategies. Liaise with Japan HQ on HR communication, documentation, and cross-border matters. Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, the Singapore Employment Act, and internal policies. Update and improve HR policies, procedures, and documentation. Handle expatriate administration, including work passes, visa renewals, and relocation support. Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and service providers. Support employee engagement initiatives and company events. Oversee office administration to ensure smooth daily operations. Perform ad‐hoc HR and administrative duties as assigned. Minimum 2 years of HR & Admin experience, preferably in an SME or Japanese company. Hands‐on experience in payroll, leave management, and recruitment coordination. Familiarity with expatriate support or work pass procedures. Japanese language ability (JLPT N2 or above) to communicate with Japan HQ and handle Japanese HR documents. (Advantageous)Experience in a small company or startup environment. Interest in Japanese entertainment, animation, or film industries and willingness to commit long‐term.
