IT Business Continuity Specialist

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across the organization, including conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and driving continuous improvement to ensure operational resilience.
Coordinate recovery tests, drills, and risk assessments, collaborating with IT, security teams, and business units to ensure preparedness and effective alignment across departments, branches, and head office.
Monitor emerging threats and regulatory changes, adapting continuity strategies to maintain compliance and ensure plans remain effective.
Lead incident response communication and post-event reviews, ensuring timely updates, resolution of issues, and readiness for future disruptions.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent fields.
Strong understanding of ITIL best practices with proven experience in leading incident response efforts and coordinating cross-functional teams effectively.
Skilled in supporting End User Services, Infrastructure, Banking Applications, and Operations, with a sharp analytical mindset and the ability to perform under pressure.
Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, delegating tasks efficiently, making quick and effective decisions, and coordinating with technology teams to ensure comprehensive incident management.
