Role Overview
As a Pet Daycare Guardian, you will be integral to our team, providing exceptional care and supervision to our furry clients in a dynamic daycare setting. Your passion for animal welfare and commitment to delivering high-quality care will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and supervise playgroups to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all dogs.
Engage with dogs through interactive activities and walks to promote physical and mental stimulation.
Provide basic grooming services such as bathing and brushing to maintain the cleanliness and health of each dog.
Administer meals and medications as per specific instructions provided
Conduct regular health checks to identify signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the facility manager.
Maintain cleanliness of the facility by disinfecting play areas, kennels, and equipment.
Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate records of attendance, health updates, and owner communication.
Offer exceptional customer service to pet owners, providing updates and feedback about their dog's day at the facility.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience in animal care or a similar field is preferred.
Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language, particularly stress signals and comfort techniques.
Excellent observation skills to detect any signs of distress or illness in dogs.
Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Passionate about providing high-quality care to animals.
