Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a Pet Daycare Guardian, you will be integral to our team, providing exceptional care and supervision to our furry clients in a dynamic daycare setting. Your passion for animal welfare and commitment to delivering high-quality care will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and supervise playgroups to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all dogs.
  • Engage with dogs through interactive activities and walks to promote physical and mental stimulation.
  • Provide basic grooming services such as bathing and brushing to maintain the cleanliness and health of each dog.
  • Administer meals and medications as per specific instructions provided
  • Conduct regular health checks to identify signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the facility manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility by disinfecting play areas, kennels, and equipment.
  • Assist in the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accurate records of attendance, health updates, and owner communication.
  • Offer exceptional customer service to pet owners, providing updates and feedback about their dog's day at the facility.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in animal care or a similar field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language, particularly stress signals and comfort techniques.
  • Excellent observation skills to detect any signs of distress or illness in dogs.
  • Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care to animals.
