Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced L2 Unix Engineer . The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting server and system operations, ensuring high availability and smooth performance of critical IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 2 support for Unix/Linux servers and related systems.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to alerts in a 24x7 Command Centre environment.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and escalation when required.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain system uptime and service levels.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in a Command Centre Engineer role.
  • Certification in CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification is required.
  • Strong understanding of Unix/Linux systems and troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment.
