Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced L2 Unix Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting server and system operations, ensuring high availability and smooth performance of critical IT infrastructure.

 

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 2 support for Unix/Linux servers and related systems.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to alerts in a 24x7 Command Centre environment.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and escalation when required.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain system uptime and service levels.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support operational requirements.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of IT experience, with at least 1 year in a Command Centre Engineer role.
  • Certification in CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification is required.
  • Strong understanding of Unix/Linux systems and troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift-based environment.
