Description Job Summary HR Service Jobs is seeking a talented and passionate North Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in authentic North Indian cuisine, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. This role requires creativity, consistency, and a keen understanding of regional flavors and presentation styles. The chef will be responsible for preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of traditional North Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of hygiene, taste, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present authentic North Indian dishes including curries, tandoori specialties, biryanis, rotis, parathas, and regional delicacies. Plan and develop daily menus while ensuring taste consistency and quality. Manage food preparation, portioning, and presentation according to company standards. Monitor food stock levels, order ingredients, and ensure efficient kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen according to food safety regulations. Train and supervise kitchen assistants and support staff when required. Experiment with new recipes and contribute ideas for seasonal or festive menus. Ensure efficient time management during high-demand periods. Follow standard operating procedures for food storage, waste management, and safety. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a North Indian Chef or similar culinary role. In-depth knowledge of traditional North Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques. Ability to manage multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work in a multicultural environment. Culinary diploma or professional cooking certification preferred. Experience Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a North Indian Chef in restaurants, hotels, or catering services. Experience handling tandoor operations (roti, naan, kebabs, tikkas, etc.) is highly desirable. Working Hours Full-Time Position Working Hours: 8 to 10 hours per day , including weekends and holidays (rotational shifts may apply). Flexible hours may be required during special events or catering functions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of spice blending and traditional Indian cooking methods. Ability to deliver consistency in taste and presentation. Time management and multitasking ability during peak service hours. Knowledge of modern kitchen equipment and maintenance procedures.
