Marine Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Engineer to lead our marine service team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain marine vessels, engines, and onboard systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Lead a team of junior marine service engineers in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of marine vessels.
  • Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer standards to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in marine equipment using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Install and test new equipment such as navigation systems, steering systems, and propulsion units to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Conduct sea trials and operational tests after repairs or installations to verify compliance with maritime regulations and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and inventory of parts to facilitate efficient operations and informed decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical engineering study background.
