Ensure RFQs for new business opportunities are completed within the Company's desired timeframe
Review high value and/or critical items and work with vendors to reduce cost without affecting quality
Ensure all POs are issued to vendors on time
Ensure vendors complete POs on time while maintaining a desirable inventory level
Review with vendors on parts quality issues and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are taken
Ensure the store has sufficient stocks to cover Sales Orders
Ensure documents issued to vendors are accurate and complete
Constant and close follow-up on parts required for Sales Orders completion
Review slow-moving or not-moving items in store and work with vendors to clear potential obsolete components
Generate reports for Management Review
Ensure vendors' invoices are accurate and complete for Finance to process payment
Requirements:
Degree in any Business or Engineering field with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management in the electronics manufacturing industry
Knowledge of supply chain management in the electronics manufacturing industry
Forward planning and organizing skills
Able to multi-task and stay committed to the job
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
Knowledge of ERP systems
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Good leadership skills and a team player
