Procurement & Vendor Management:
Source and manage suppliers for components, products, and services in line with company requirements and the timely delivery of goods.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
Supply Chain Operations:
Coordinate with internal departments (R&D, production, and finance) to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
Ensure smooth logistics and transportation, working with external partners to manage the distribution and delivery of products.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards, especially in medical and consumer product categories.
Identify potential supply chain risks and work on mitigation strategies.
Process Improvement:
Evaluate existing supply chain processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
Implement best practices in supply chain management, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
Data Management & Reporting:
Track key supply chain metrics and prepare regular reports for management review.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and supplier details in the Auto-count and BLM system.
Handle QMS system, not limited to SCM department.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, finance, and production, to ensure alignment between supply chain activities and overall business objectives.
Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent in supply chain/logistics.
Working experience in procurement, sourcing, logistics, and supplier management.
Previous experience of working in a purchasing team; preferably within a medical or manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of purchasing, price negotiation, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown.
Experience of working closely with suppliers/freight forwarders.
Able to add value, reduce costs, and contribute to business improvements.
