Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our Navigation team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience in the marine industry and a solid understanding of service operations in a maritime environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Installation of electronic equipment on ships.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of navigation equipment both on board and ashore.
  • Providing in-house support and 2nd level support.
  • Facilitating training for ships' crew on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Commissioning and preparation of equipment deliveries.
  • Creating digital training materials and support documentation.

Job Qualifications:

  • Expertise in electronics and mechanics.
  • Good English speaking and writing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Readiness and willingness to travel as required.
  • Strong technical abilities.
  • Experience with ship electronics is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Work permit for Singapore.
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e., regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
