Responsibilities Ensures grooming and customer service standards are met while on duty. Attends phone calls and responds to guest enquiries, requests, and takes orders promptly and professionally. Manages and monitors room service status in the 'Knowcross' system, follows up on requests or orders. Prepares and checks par stock of room service supplies (e.g., fruit baskets, condiments, mise en place). Maintains cleanliness and tidiness of the room service work area. Responsible for upkeep of fridge, coffee machine, cutlery, crockery, and glassware. Accounts for soiled cutlery, crockery, and glassware for washing and cleaning purposes. Coordinates and collects food orders from kitchen to be delivered to guest rooms. Assists in poolside operations when needed, such as providing relief during lunch/dinner breaks. Equips with updated knowledge of the hotel's products and services, especially in the area of F&B promotions. Adheres to local regulations regarding health, hygiene, safety, and other government compliance requirements. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Education & Work Experience GCE 'N'/'O' Levels or equivalent. Possesses F&B experience with general knowledge of restaurant/bar operations preferred. Certified competent in WSQ basic food hygiene course or valid health/food handler requirements set by local government agency.
