We also offer courses that focus on English, mathematics, life skills and employability through ASDAN programmes. All students are involved in a wide range of co-curricular activities, mainly run by teaching staff, resulting in a rich and varied co-curricular offer for our students, with our school active and competitive in the local international school sports league across a number of sports. The school has an extensive programme of residential trips starting in Year 3 up to the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Secondary. Job Summary An outstanding and inspirational Head of Primary Mandarin is required for August 2025 . We seek an experienced Head of Mandarin with demonstrable evidence of innovating and adapting curricula to engage students and enable them to perform highly. Tracking, Assessment, Recording, Reporting Make effective use of assessment to plan challenging learning opportunities for all students; Collect and use meaningful data to enhance teaching and learning; Monitor and record students’ learning to ensure they remain on track to achieve challenging targets; Report on progress to students, colleagues and parents. Person Specification Qualifications/Training Qualified to bachelor degree level or above. Qualified Teacher Status. Chinese Teaching qualifications. Experience Proven track record with at least two years teaching experience. Demonstrate evidence of innovating and adapting curricula to engage students and enable them to perform highly. Working in partnership with parents. Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to engage students and enable them to perform to a high standard. Strong organisational skills. Strong use of ICT for administration and teaching. Personal Attributes Passionate about education and young students. Evidence of commitment to continuous professional learning and development. Other Holds a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure or equivalent for countries lived in outside of the UK. Compliance with Visa Requirements for working in Singapore.
