Description Employment Type: 12-Month Renewable Contract Salary Range: Up to S$3,200 per month (commensurate with experience) Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer (Level 1) to be the first point of contact for IT-related issues. You will be responsible for providing prompt and efficient technical assistance, ensuring end‑user satisfaction while maintaining compliance with IT standards, software licensing, and operational processes. Responsibilities Provide desktop support services to end users. Receive, prioritize, document, and resolve helpdesk requests to meet SLA and customer satisfaction standards. Perform system imaging and re‑imaging. Conduct asset inventory checks and maintain accurate records. Escalate technical issues to 3rd‑party vendors or resolver teams as needed. Update incident records and service documentation accurately and timely. Create and maintain work instructions, standards, and procedures as necessary. Requirements Minimum Nitec in IT or related field. At least 1 year of experience in desktop support. Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 (minimum 1 year). Clear spoken and written English communication. Possess at least one of the following certifications or equivalent: CompTIA A+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA Security+ Microsoft Certified: Windows Client Microsoft Certified: Managing Modern Desktops Prior experience in IT helpdesk and/or call center support, especially remote support via phone or tools, is an advantage. Good understanding of workstation hardware/software and related components. Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency.
