We're looking to add a
System Analyst, IT (DevOps Engineer) (MES) in Singapore.
As a System Analyst, IT (DevOps Engineer) (MES), you will:
Be responsible for the architecture, deployment and management of containerized applications, automating infrastructure and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems. Working closely with other teams, you will provide support and collaborate across multiple business functions to ensure that Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are effectively established to support daily production and meet business needs. Experience with cloud platforms and container technology is important for this position.
Set up, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters to run our container-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in production.
Work with development teams to containerize MES applications using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring smooth and reliable deployment.
Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Use automation tools (such as Ansible) with Kubernetes to automate infrastructure tasks, including provisioning, scaling, and updates.
Write Python scripts and use other scripting languages to automate routine tasks, support deployment processes, and perform simple data transformations between machines, subsystems, and the MES.
Monitor system health, performance, and security of the MES platform, and quickly address any issues or outages.
Work closely with developers, QA, and other teams to improve the MES platform and support daily production needs.
Make sure all deployments and infrastructure changes follow compliance and security standards, with proper documentation.
Lead or support upgrades and new projects related to MES, including integrating new features and technologies for manufacturing.
Manage software development and integration for MES, including connecting with machines, data loggers, middleware, ETLs, and dashboards as needed.
What skills and experiences are we looking:
Manufacturing Execution System (MES, MOM)
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant Experience of supporting / deploying solutions with Kubernetes deployment skillset.
Familiarity with various common Linux distributions (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE).
Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components with proven experience in creating images, containers, automating build, test, and deployment processes.
Experience in programming language such as Python, VB.NET, C#, C++, PLC Programming & knowledge in SQL, YAML Queries is recommended
Experience in dashboarding tools (Apache Superset), data lake (MinIO + Trino SQL), developing middleware for IoT Data Integration will be an advantage.
Experience in Manufacturing Process & Manufacturing Execution Systems knowledge is a plus.

Analytical, meticulous and have good sense in troubleshooting
Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization
Able to work independently and lead in projects
Willing to travel to support subsidiaries in regional countries if required
