Solutions Architect

We are looking for a skilled Solutions Architect with a strong background in cloud services and infrastructure in enterprise-level solution design. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and architecting solutions aligned with customer business goals and technical strategies. You will work closely with engineers, products, and business stakeholders to drive innovation and digital transformation. He/she should technically skilled and be able to bridge the gap between business needs and cloud solutions, effectively communicating complex ideas while maintaining adaptability and collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirement and evaluate and recommend the technical solution to fit the requirement
• Analyse technical infrastructure problems, challenges, and complexities for private, hybrid or multi-cloud architecture and recommend improvements
• Design and architect cloud solutions and services to address customer business requirements and present them to customer business executives or stakeholders
• Promote the adoption of new technologies that will offer benefits to the customer’s business
• Engage with principal vendors to understand their products, solutions, and pricing to drive a solution for the customer
• Present Proof of Concepts/Proof of Value and solution demonstrations
• Provide assistance to the sales team for pre-sales activity
• Provide guidance and assistance to project engineers regarding the solution design during project implementation
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture standards, IT governance, and compliance policies
• Create a solution design document and Bill of Materials for customer requirement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of presales and solution design or implementation experience for AWS
• Hands-on experience in AWS cloud computing encompassing computing, storage, databases, networking, serverless computing, service mesh, analytics, application services, deployment, management, machine learning, content delivery, analytics, management tools, security, identity, compliance and IoT
• Hands-on experience designing scalable and resilient architectures using AWS services to support the needs of large-scale systems
• Experience integrating third-party systems and data sources into AWS environments seamlessly
• Experience with DevOps practices for efficient implementation of cloud systems
• Experience working across diverse industries to adapt solutions to different business challenges
• Knowledge of AWS security features such as IAM roles, encryption, compliance measures, and disaster recovery planning
• Experience with CI/CD practices to ensure efficient deployment workflows
• Must have architected at least 3 solutions that are designed based on AWS cloud computing services
• Must be knowledgeable about both public and private cloud environments
• Conversant with the current cloud products and solutions
• Self-motivated with a positive “can-do” attitude, passionate on problem solving and willingness in picking up new skillsets
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
