About the role As APAC Vendor Management Director, you will be responsible for leading the strategic performance of Exclusive Networks’ vendor portfolio in the APAC region. You will drive the evolution and execution of our vendor engagement strategies, forge strategic alliances with top‑tier and emerging cybersecurity OEMs, and optimize business outcomes through strong commercial relationships, operational excellence, and cross‑functional alignment. Vendor Strategy & Acquisition Identify strategic gaps and opportunities in the vendor portfolio aligned to market trends and customer demand. Lead end‑to‑end vendor acquisition lifecycle—from sourcing, evaluation, and business case development to contract negotiation and onboarding. Negotiate commercial terms and partnership frameworks that deliver mutual economic value. Align vendor strategy with Exclusive Networks’ business objectives, sales priorities, and services roadmap for APAC. Work closely with global counterparts to share insights, harmonize approaches, and identify opportunities for global leverage. Lead Exclusive Networks’ response to vendor RFIs, RFPs, and other strategic proposal opportunities. Develop standardized response templates and documentation to drive efficiency and consistency. Serve as project lead across regional and functional teams to coordinate input and ensure timely, high‑quality submissions. Vendor Management & Performance Act as executive sponsor for key vendor partnerships such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Sentinel One. Identify key strategic initiatives to support the development of those partnerships and ensure cross‑functional involvement. Oversee ongoing relationship development, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), joint business planning, and performance optimization across all managed relationships. Secure and manage joint investment and MDF funding for business development, sales enablement, marketing, and technical initiatives. Develop and implement vendor scorecards, KPI tracking, and reporting across all managed relationships. Operational Excellence Drive seamless onboarding processes in partnership with local operations teams (SKU setup, pricing, EDI, systems integration, etc.). Ensure compliance with contractual terms and maintain high operational performance. Collaborate with finance to optimize revenue reporting, margin capture, and accurate SKU classification. Lead process improvement efforts to streamline vendor management workflows and scale efficiently. Qualifications and Experience The ideal Vendor Management Director will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. 12+ years of professional experience in the IT or Cybersecurity sector, including 5+ years in partnerships, strategic alliances, vendor management or category leadership at a distributor, OEM, or channel‑focused organization with at least 5 years in regional leadership roles. Proven success leading large, distributed vendor teams across multiple markets. Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex strategic vendor partnerships and develop joint go‑to‑market plans. Deep understanding of the IT channel ecosystem, distribution models and cybersecurity market dynamics. Strong project management skills, financial acumen, strategic thinking and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence across technical and executive levels. Strategic mindset with the ability to remain hands‑on and operational when required.
