Research Assistant / PhD Student – AI, Animal Studies & High-throughput Science for RNA Therapeutics Development (Wet-Lab Focus)NTU College of Computing and Data Science & LKC School of Medicine We are looking for a highly motivated Research Assistant / PhD student to join our team in an exciting project at the intersection of RNA therapeutics and artificial intelligence . If you are passionate about drug discovery and want to be part of a visionary team shaping the future of RNA therapeutics with AI, please reach outKey Responsibilities Conduct animal and experimental wet-lab efforts to scale up high-throughput screening of RNA therapeutics. Design and conduct molecular biology experiments to generate high-quality datasets for training AI models. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, including AI scientists and engineers. Optimize protocols for in vivo screening of RNA therapeutics, ensuring reproducibility and scalability. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of wet-lab scientists, AI researchers, and bioinformaticians. Maintain rigorous laboratory records and contribute to research publications and presentations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (for Research Assistant) or strong motivation for PhD studies in: Biomedical Engineering , Biochemistry , Biology , Chemical Engineering , Pharmaceutical Sciences , or a related field. Strong background in animal studies and molecular biology hands-on experience with wet-lab techniques (e.g., RNA synthesis, gene editing, high-throughput screening) is preferred. Demonstrated interest or experience in RNA therapeutics and high-throughput innovation. Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly with computational team members focused on AI model development.
