Custody Operations Manager

This role will be part of the fast growing dynamic custody operations team, working with the product sales team, relationship management team as well as internal stakeholders. This candidate is adaptable to different work scenarios; can process the work equally well as an individual contributor as well as assisting the team in checking the daily custody's operational work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
1) Confident and independent contributor (processor) / Ability to work as a checker role as part of the custody operations team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standard.
2) Daily task includes but not limiting to: Review processing of trades, corporate actions, static updates, MIS reporting of the custody business.
3) Liaise with Head office custody team, operations team from various branches regarding custody business.
4) Provide management support, drives and implement process enhancement and improvements, participate on UAT testing.
5) Handle issues and requests from both internal and external stakeholders regarding custody operational enquiries.
6) Performance oriented. Promote the development of custody business by working closely with Front office team.
7) To complete all other tasks assigned by the management team and ensure deliverables are executed as per requirements.
Job Requirements:
1)\tBachelor's degree with more than 5 years of working experience, preference given to candidate with more than 3 year experience in the securities and fund operations. Ability to conduct market research and excellent report writing ability
2)\tKnowledge on the duties of a Depository Agent will be added advantage
3)\tHigh adaptability, ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment and efficient team manager
4)\tPeople-oriented with good interpersonal skills, to manage the diversity of team members
5)\tEffective communication with good interpersonal, written and verbal skills in both English and Chinese to provide effecient service to Chinese background customers. Must have ability to write in business Chinese.
