The Surgery Department offers advanced surgical services, supported by a dedicated team of veterinary specialists, nurses, and assistants. We are committed to ensuring excellent patient care before, during, and after surgery. Job Description We are seeking passionate and dedicated Surgical Patient Care Assistants to support our surgical and nursing teams. This entry‑level role is ideal for those with a love for animals and an interest in building a career in veterinary healthcare. Key Responsibilities Provide daily care and comfort for surgical patients, including feeding, cleaning, and handling. Assist nurses and veterinarians in preparing patients for surgery and monitoring recovery. Help maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness of the surgical wards and hospital areas. Support the team in monitoring patients and reporting observations. Ensure excellent client service and communication when interacting with pet owners. Participate in shift rotations, including some weekends and public holidays. Requirements No prior experience required; animal handling or volunteering at shelters is an advantage. Strong passion for animals, with focus and dedication to patient care. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable working weekends and on a rotating schedule that includes some public holidays (time off given in lieu). Singaporeans only. Positions open for both day and night shifts .
