Job Title: Data Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing SAS programs for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, and optimize SAS programs for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into SAS environments.
  • Conduct statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning using SAS.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain SAS-based dashboards and reports.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Optimize SAS processes for improved efficiency and performance.
  • Provide support and training to teams on SAS best practices and analytics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in SAS programming (SAS Visual Investigator, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Viya 3.5 with SAS Studio, SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS 9 Programming).
  • Strong expertise in data manipulation, cleansing, and validation.
  • Experience with statistical modeling, regression analysis, and machine learning in SAS.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or SAS Visual Analytics) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAS certifications (e.g., SAS Certified Advanced Programmer, SAS Data Scientist, etc.).
  • Experience in financial services, healthcare, retail, or other data-driven industries.
