Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Programme Staff to support the planning and delivery of recreational, educational, and enrichment programmes at YMCA centres. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all participants while assisting in daily operations and programme management.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver programme activities for children, youth, and community members.
Supervise and engage with participants to ensure safety and participation.
Set up and maintain programme areas, materials, and equipment.
Handle administrative tasks such as attendance tracking, programme documentation, and report submissions.
Collaborate with colleagues and management to enhance programme quality and participant experience.
Ensure compliance with YMCA policies, safety guidelines, and relevant regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
Minimum Secondary Education (GCE O-Level or equivalent).
Passion for working with children, youth, and community groups.
Good communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexible and adaptable to full-time working hours.
Prior experience in programme delivery, childcare, or education is preferred but not mandatory.
Working Hours:
Full-time, 5-day work week (Monday to Friday).
Daily hours: Typically 8 hours per day (e.g., 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, including lunch break).
Occasional flexibility may be required for special programmes or training events.
