Programme Assistant

• Assist coaches in guiding and supervising clients.
• Assist coaches in preparing the environment and other necessary resources required (including assistive devices and technologies) for assessment and programme activities.
• Run routine planned assessment and programme activities independently.
• Collaborate with the team to implement and execute services and activities to meet needs of clients.
• Provide care to clients such as, but not limited to, toileting, diaper changing and feeding during meal times.
• Ensure client attendance and vital signs are taken in a timely manner
• Maintain inventory.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of environment at all times.
• Implement infection prevention and control.
• Engage with clients to support active participation throughout the day.
• Observing & reporting of clients' condition.
Other Responsibilities
• Report issues requiring general repairs and maintenance.
• Accompanying clients to outings and special functions.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the Centre Supervisor/Director/CEO.
The above activities are no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever is needed.
Job Specifications
• Minimum NITEC.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player with the ability to work and collaborate well across all levels.
• Resourceful, adaptable to changes and able to think on the feet.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Computer Literate.
• Self-motivated and service orientated.
