Overview

Regional Lead, Learning & Development (ASIA) role at SJ Group .

Responsibilities
  • Business partnering with regional leaders and key business stakeholders for all L&D needs
  • Develop regional L&D strategy in alignment with the Global Academy strategy and derive regional/local implementation plans with appropriate stakeholders
  • Support and implement the Global Learning and Development Strategy; and contribute to Global L&D efforts (programs, projects, initiatives)
  • Lead the design and delivery of regional L&D programs, including global programs’ roll-out, and region-specific initiatives
  • Develop effective and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders that contribute to the success of the function and the business
Formal Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and appropriate equivalent experience; Human Synergistics LSI (ideal)
  • International Coaching Federation - Coaching level 1 or equivalent (ideal)
  • Project Management
  • Other diagnostic tools (desirable)
Experience
  • Has the demonstrated ability to consistently: Develop and implement high impact L&D strategy relating to talent and people development
  • Develop L&D frameworks and policies
  • Project manage global programs
  • Translate strategy into operation and implementation
  • Develop, manage and retain strong collaborative and constructive relationships
Skills / Knowledge
  • Strong and well-rounded knowledge of L&D function
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Strategic foresight and creativity to enable L&D strategy and deliver on global and regional L&D agenda
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management
  • Instructional design (desirable)
  • e-Learning authoring tools (desirable)
  • LMS working knowledge (preferably Workday)
