Responsibilities
Execute the company’s inventory policy
Manage the company’s inventory file including stock profiles and locations
Churning of necessary daily and weekly Inventory/Purchasing reports
Prepare purchase orders and thoroughly check invoices and delivery orders for accuracy
Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information
Ensure incoming goods are receipted and managed appropriately
Review historical data to build timely forecasts for assigned markets
Responsible for planning periodic stock checks via audit work and stock takes
Perform reconciliation or audit after physical counts and liaise with business units to rectify variance
Monitor inventory to maintain safety stock level to avoid ‘’out-of-stock’’ situations
Facilitate stock-take and be responsible to tidy up inventory stores
Keep a record of stocks and ensure that stocks are in order and updated.
Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes from suppliers.
