Test Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Lead to lead the overall testing activities within large-scale insurance core system modernisation initiative. This initiative will modernize the operational backbone of our organization, across various business functions such as new business, underwriting, policy servicing, claims processing, collection and billing. The Test Lead will be responsible to lead and manage end-to-end testing activities including orchestration and execution across various workstreams (Product, New Business & Underwriting, Policy Servicing, Claims, and Finance) and system integration, to ensure proper sequencing and execution of scenarios across workstreams during testing phases. Test Lead works closely with QA Lead and Test Manager to drive test scenario preparation, test cases preparation and execution, with scope of testing covers functional and data migration testing. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Business Analyst Lead and Business Users to define clear test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria as part of test strategy Analyse requirements to identify potential risks, dependencies and testing priorities Work closely with QA Lead and BE/BA users to drive the overall activities including test plan, test estimates, test schedule and coordinated testing activities with delivery timelines Review test plans & test cases that prepared by QA team to ensure strict adherence to testing standards and best practices. Provide breakdown of test plan into executable cycles and work with respective business users and QA Lead for resource allocation Oversee test data provisioning – ensure appropriate data is available for testing execution Manage test cycles across various phases of testing Coordinate with test automation team to ensure automated test suits are triggered as part of regression testing Plan and coordinate test environment setup and management. For data migration, work closely with Data Migration Lead and team to analyse scope of data migration (e.g. mapping validation), plan and orchestrate as part of overall testing along with functional coverage testing. End-to-end accountability for the timely execution for all testing activities Work with QA Lead to assign tasks for QA Testers. Work with Test Manager to oversee the execution of test case and ensure that testing is conducted accordingly as planned Ensures seamless coordination of testing efforts among testers working in different workstreams. Ensure project testing activities comply with testing standards Facilitate defect triage with developers, QA team, business users during defect meeting review Manage the defect lifecycle, including prioritization of defects, timely tracking & monitoring for defect closure Proactively identify systematic issues and provide effective troubleshooting advice. Support cutover and post-implementation validation efforts. Qualifications & Competencies Degree holder with testing-related certifications Minimum of 10 years' experience in test management with knowledge of insurance domain (mainly Life & Health insurance), preferably leading testing efforts for large-scale projects (more than 20 business users for the testing)Experience in data migration testing with proven track record of successful delivery project. Experience in test orchestration, planning & management including test plan preparation, identification of test scenario & orchestration of test execution, test effort estimation & resource allocation. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools and best practices Detailed-oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to engage stakeholders across various business domains. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
