Group/Division
The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information and making recommendations to our management team.
Job Description
We are looking for a sharp, motivated professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills to add to our global team. The Director of Operational Audits will lead the operational audit function, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources, compliance with local laws and company policies, and alignment of process-level activities with the overall company strategy. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and oversight of operational, financial, and strategic audits while keeping abreast of new audit regulations and emerging technologies. International travel is required up to 30% of time.
Key areas of responsibility include the following:
Plan, prioritize and manage multiple global projects (audits and advisory / consultative projects) and deadlines.
Lead the annual risk assessment and develop risk-based audit plans.
Lead a team of operational auditors and managers to oversee audit engagements including:
Design audit programs applying internal auditing concepts & practices.
Conduct interviews and document key operational processes & related controls.
Identify and integrate operational issues, financial concepts, and data into actionable recommendations.
Communicate the results of projects via written or oral presentations to management.
Develop high-potential talent for future leadership roles within the audit function.
Work effectively with different levels of management to implement practical solutions to audit issues.
Partner with stakeholders and apply a transparent, collaborative approach.
Identify opportunities to streamline and drive digital transformation.
Share best practices and insights to enhance organizational value.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field with at least 15 years of relevant experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing people.
Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and flexible with constant change.
Executive presence with strong communication and presentation skills.
Hard-working self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to work independently.
Independent and critical thinker with a sense of ownership and urgency.
