In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities:
Open Account Trade (OAT) Processing & Administration:
Process and administer OAT transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all internal policies and compliance requirements. This includes pre-processing/processing of applications, miscellaneous functions and complying with the stipulated turnaround time. Transaction processing includes and not limited to:
Processing of invoices & transport/supporting documents
Processing of disbursements to client
Application of payments received to outstanding invoices
Monitoring and follow up with buyer on overdue invoices
Stakeholders Interaction & Communication:
Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients in transaction processing and address any queries.
Regulatory Compliance:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance guidelines and ensure all processes are compliant to requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Understanding of trade finance products and documentation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Gen AI tools or data analytics is a plus, but not required. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.

Automated Document Extraction:
Gen AI can assist to automate document types classification, matching of related documents and data extraction from applications for completeness and accuracy, reducing manual effort and improving turnaround time.

Gen AI can assist to automate processing checks against processing checklist and compliance guidelines, hence reducing manual effort and improving turnaround time.
Process Automation:
Gen AI can help to automate repetitive tasks, freeing up the analyst to focus on more complex and value-added activities.
