Job Title:

A skilled software professional is required to join our organization and drive the development and maintenance of Risk and Finance applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading technical studies, collaborating with infrastructure specialists, big data experts, and business analysts. They will also document solution designs, contribute to development, ensure CI/CD artifacts are integrated into the solution, conduct code reviews, promote knowledge sharing, and coach team members on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, design, and develop software solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Analyze user requirements and develop corresponding software solutions.
  • Enhance and update existing software systems, direct testing, and validation procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
  • Strong expertise in data ingestion and processing technologies such as Spark Streaming, Spark.
  • Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, Flume, ActiveMQ, MQSeries, or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem including HDFS, HBase, Hive, ORC/Parquet.
  • Proficiency with build tools such as Maven, sbt, Ant, UML, RESTful web services, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, source management like SVN/GIT, and TDD (JUnit).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related field.
