FACULTY OPENINGS AT THE SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore’s first University of Applied Learning, offering industry-relevant degree programmes that prepare its graduates to be work- and future-ready professionals. Targeted to be ready in 2024, SIT’s centralised campus within the Punggol Digital District will feature a vibrant learning environment where academia and industry are tightly integrated with the community. Our faculty work closely with industry on translational research and innovation, as well as provide consultancy on industry challenges. This strong industry connection provides our graduates with deep skills and work-ready training experience, aligning them with the needs of the future economy.

Positions are available from Lecturer to Associate Professor.
Successful candidates will join the Centre for Professional Communication (CPC) as part of a team of experts passionate about incorporating critical thinking into teaching writing and presentation skills across higher education. They will be involved in embedding specific writing and speaking skills into content modules across academic years and disciplines. CPC faculty are also actively involved in industry transformation through applied research in communication. They are provided with paid leave to undertake consultancy work with industry or spend time attached to industry.
We prioritize candidates with a) an earned PhD or equivalent from a reputable university with specialization in applied linguistics, science communication, or related disciplines, and some relevant work experience.
