Overview The Singapore Institute of Technology invites applications for Faculty openings in the Centre for Professional Communication (CPC). The CPC equips SIT students with critical communication skills essential for academic and professional success. Positions are available from Lecturer to Associate Professor. Posting Start Date: 22/07/2025. Schemes of Service: Faculty. Division: Centre for Professional Communication. Employment Type: Permanent, Fixed Term. Responsibilities Join a team of experts focused on incorporating critical thinking in the teaching of academic and professional communication skills transferable to the workplace and vital for professional success. Embed teaching of specific academic writing, speaking and workplace communication skills in content modules across academic years and undergraduate programmes in different disciplines. Develop and update curriculum through applied research in communication in the disciplines. Engage in paid leave to undertake consultancy work with industry and/or conduct courses for in-employment learners. Collaborate with colleagues to create and deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to the Centre's mission. Qualifications Candidates should possess at least a Master's degree or an earned PhD or equivalent from a reputable university with specialization related to academic and/or professional communication. Corporate people management experience with thought leadership in professional communication and/or corporate training experience in professional communication is desired.
