We are seeking highly motivated individuals to be part of our PR & Communications team. This role supports the development and implementation of communication strategies to build community bonds and promote resident participation in the towns we manage.
Responsibilities:
Support the Publicity and Community Relations Committee (PCRC)
Draft content and produce videos for social media; manage the design and content of the website
Assist in curating, copywriting, and delivering publications such as the Annual Report, Newsletters, and 5-Year Masterplan
Prepare content for print media, including notices, advisories, and posters
Monitor and track news stories and reports across media channels
Handle media inquiries and respond to feedback providers
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications, Digital Media Production, Marketing, or equivalent
Knowledge of Sustainability & Green practices is a plus
Strong copywriting skills with excellent command of written and spoken English
Fluent in a second language
Proficiency in design and editing software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, iMovie)
Knowledge of photography and videography
Understanding of SEO/SEM, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms
Awareness of social media trends and current affairs
A good team player
