Overview
ESR is seeking a driven and analytical Analyst with minimum 2 years of investment experience to join the Group Investment Team. The candidate will independently evaluate real estate investment opportunities, conduct in-depth financial modelling, and prepare high-quality investment papers as well as ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision making by ESR senior management. The candidate will also work with key stakeholders across the broader business, including the Group Strategy & Investments team on Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities and the in-country investment teams on key projects.
Responsibilities
Independently assess potential real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes and geographies, including both equity and debt structures
Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze deal-level economics, sensitivity scenarios, and return metrics (e.g., IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash)
Draft clear and compelling investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees and senior leadership, outlining the strategic rationale, risks, and recommendations
Conduct macro and micro-level market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence to inform underwriting assumptions and investment strategy
Liaise with brokers, partners, legal counsel, and other external advisors to facilitate deal execution
Provide on-demand analytical support to senior management, including portfolio reviews, hold/sell analysis, and performance tracking
Review potential investment opportunities proposed by the broader business and work with Group Strategy & Investments team on potential Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in real estate investment, real estate funds management, real estate private equity, or a similar role
Bachelor's Degree from a top-tier university with an outstanding academic record
