Warranty Service Specialist

Major Player in Energy Industry Great Company Culture Located in Jurong Island Our client is a major player in the Power Generation market, looking to expand their frontline with an addition of a Service Manager to oversee and manage the service warranty contracts along with maintenance works in the Power Plant. Key Responsibilities Track warranty timelines and ensure timely submission of claims to both internal stakeholders and external vendors. Strengthen communications between customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure transparent handling of warranty claims. Receive, review, and process warranty claims for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems within the assigned scope. Coordinate and schedule vendor site visits, including managing site access and permit-to-work procedures. Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and external partners to collect operational insights and failure data. Liaise closely with factories, third-party suppliers, and local vendors to diagnose equipment defects, develop corrective actions, and drive prompt resolution. Consult with internal engineering experts or external specialists to address technical issues and equipment defects covered under warranty. Lead or facilitate on-site investigations, fact-finding activities, and root cause analysis related to warranty claims, providing frequent updates as needed. Monitor and maintain accurate records of warranty claims, including timelines, technical findings, costs, financial recoveries, and resolution status. Ensure that warranty handling processes comply with contractual terms, company procedures, and relevant industry standards. Analyse warranty data to identify equipment or design weaknesses and recommend enhancements to internal engineering teams or external partners. Identify process gaps, define issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement process improvements to enhance warranty management efficiency. Lead or support negotiations for cost recovery while ensuring strict adherence to warranty agreements. Monitor supplier performance, identify recurring problems, and escalation issues to drive corrective actions. Generate periodic reports highlighting warranty trends, cost analysis, and vendor performance metrics. Support internal reliability engineering programs and initiatives in collaboration with external technical partners. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience in turbomachinery, especially in warranty, commissioning or reliability Candidates with strong familiarity with RCA tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys) will be preferred Proficient in MS Office and CMMS systems (e.g., SAP, Maximo)Project Management skills will be an added advantage due to the need to manage critical projects Comfortable to work in Jurong Island on a daily basis How To Apply Simply submit your application with your updated Resume in MS Word Format to Shahul Abdullah (EA Personnel Reg.
