Description Freelance VFX Compositor – Comedy Horror Film Join a dynamic post‑production team working on a dark comedy‑horror feature film, fully remote, with a focus on high‑quality VFX compositing. The project requires approximately 150 hours of work over 6–8 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible and final delivery expected by the end of January or early February 2026. You will be responsible for creating compelling water and river effects, enhancing zombie visuals, executing blood and contact gags, and performing plate cleanup and 2.5D/tracked inserts. All deliverables must be provided in 4K ProRes 4444, and you have the flexibility to use your preferred compositing software. Collaboration and feedback will be managed through Frame.io, Drive, or Dropbox. Deliverables Composite water and river VFX sequences to a high standard suitable for a feature film Enhance zombie effects, including digital makeup and movement augmentation Execute blood and contact gags with realism and creativity Perform plate cleanup and integrate 2.5D/tracked inserts as required Deliver all final shots in 4K ProRes 4444 format Participate in regular remote reviews and implement feedback promptly Requirements Proven experience as a VFX compositor or digital artist on narrative film projects Proficiency in Nuke, Fusion, After Effects, or similar compositing software Strong skills in water simulation, zombie enhancements, and digital effects for horror/comedy genres Experience with AI‑assisted roto or cleanup workflows is a plus Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration and file transfers Availability to start immediately and commit to the project timeline Excellent communication skills and responsiveness during the review process About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
