Regional Director, Sales – Transaction Banking Solutions (APAC) ANKH Executive has been retained to support a confidential search on behalf of a well-established systems integrator and consulting organization with a strong ecosystem of technology partners in the transaction banking domain. Our FinTech client supports Tier-1 banks across APAC on large-scale transformation and modernization initiatives spanning transaction banking, trade-related workflows, and digital enablement. The Role The Regional Director, Sales will be responsible for driving new business and expanding strategic relationships with major banks in Singapore and across APAC. The role carries end-to-end ownership of complex enterprise sales cycles, working closely with senior banking stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and a broader partner ecosystem. While Singapore is the primary market, the role also supports opportunities across North Asia, including Japan, and other key APAC financial hubs. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise sales activities for transaction banking and related solutions across APAC Build and manage senior-level relationships within Tier-1 banks Own complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles including RFP/RFI processes Collaborate with technology partners and internal consulting teams Support transformation initiatives including digital and cloud-enabled programs Meet and exceed regional revenue and growth targets Required Experience Proven experience selling transaction banking or closely related financial services solutions to banks Strong track record working with major banks in Singapore and the wider APAC region Experience in selling to and/or relationship with major Japanese banks is strongly preferred Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles Comfort engaging with C-level and senior banking stakeholders Experience working within global or regional matrix organizations Professional fluency in English mandatory; additional Asian language skills strongly preferred Additional Information Location: Singapore (work authorisation support available for the right candidate) Travel: Regional APAC travel required Preferred Industry Background Ideal candidates should have held senior sales roles at leading enterprise transaction banking technology providers such as: Surecomp, Tuum, Mambu, China Systems, Finastra, CGI, Intellect Design Arena, Nucleus Software, TCS BaNCS, OFSS / Oracle Financial Services Software, Infosys Finacle, Temenos, FIS, Fiserv, Sopra Banking Software, Kyriba, Bottomline, SAP, Loxon Solutions, BML Istisharat, MonetaGo, TradeSun, LiquidX, Bolero, NTT Data, Nomura Research Institute (NRI), Hitachi Consulting, Fujitsu, Accenture, Deloitte, EY, PwC, or similar enterprise banking technology and systems integration organizations.
