Join Us as an Assistant Laser Process Engineer - Advance Next-Gen Solar Technology
Are you passionate about cutting-edge research and hands-on experimentation? We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Laser Process Engineer to support our research and development team in advancing next-generation photovoltaic technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Work from 08:30AM - 05:30PM OR 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Prepare substrates/precursors and oversee the laser ablation process.
Assist in material coating processes for experimentation.
Monitor process and hardware performance to ensure smooth operations.
Record process conditions, analyze data, and report findings to the research team.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and perform routine equipment maintenance.
Conduct shutdown procedures if necessary.
Collaborate with researchers and engineers to drive process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong hands-on skills with a passion for lab-based work.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Proactive, self-disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Effective team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Bilingual skills (English & Mandarin) preferred, as some laboratory equipment and manuals are in Mandarin and require basic understanding to operate.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in laboratory settings.
    Personal Traits:
  • Responsible, independent, and able to react quickly to malfunctions.
  • Motivated to contribute to high-impact research and innovation.
  • No history of disciplinary issues.
