INFANT EDUCATOR

The Infant Educator is responsive to the needs of young children. He/she creates a secure environment for young children through nurturing, respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with them; a quality learning environment through assisting in implementing a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum. The Infant Educator is intentional in building trusting and respectful partnerships with parents and families. He/she actively engages in centre initiatives and supports its collaborative efforts with the community. He/she also works closely with colleagues and contributes to a culture of collaboration and collegiality. As an early childhood educator, the Infant Educator engages in continuous learning and reflective practice. Fresh graduates from ACEY/ HCIC/ CIT are welcome to apply. Registered Nurses are also highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Plan and carry out the daily programme, developmental and care-giving tasks as assigned Attend to the health, hygiene and safety needs of the infants Create a safe environment and provide the best possible care to infants under their care Build and maintain good rapport with parents Requirements Obtained an Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC), Certificate In Infant & Toddler Care (CIT) or its equivalent At least Secondary 2 education or 8 years of formal education and attained an average level of 4 under the Statement of Attainment (SOA) in Employability Skills (ES) WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) series Knowledge of inquiry-based learning Exceptional interpersonal skills with sound working knowledge of MS Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Show passion, dedication and willingness to make a difference in children’s learning Location: Singapore, Singapore, Singapore Date Opened: Aug 26, 2025Due Date: Feb 28, 2026Status: Open #J-18808-Ljbffr
