Job Description The KPMG Actuarial Services team offers innovative business strategies to clients with an aim of helping them navigate the rapidly changing insurance industry. Our professionals have sound technical skills with the ability to cut through complex issues to help our clients make more effective and efficient business decisions. We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing Actuarial practice. Successful candidates will play a significant role in offering a wide range of actuarial consultancy services in the insurance and financial services industry. Together with a team of actuarial professionals, you will : Participate in actuarial audits and advisory work for our general insurance clients such as direct insurers, reinsurers, captives Performing Certifying Actuary work such as reserve valuation and reviews, stress testing, capital adequacy analysis, risk management assessments, etc Participate in Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) and due diligence projects Building actuarial models to support in decision making and analysis Advise clients on various insurance topics such as accounting and regulatory change, claims, pricing or reserving process optimisation, market studies Support in business development initiatives such as preparing proposals and presentations The ideal candidate should have : Bachelor's degree in a numerical discipline such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Keen attention to detail Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple assignments at the same time Knowledge of Excel / VBA, SAS, SQL and R will be an advantage Desire to pursue actuarial examinations with an internationally recognised actuarial organisation such as Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFOA) or the Actuaries Institute of Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
