Overview of the role
We are seeking a
UAE National Cost Clerk
with strong skills in operations, back-office administration, and ideally, proficiency in MS Excel. This is a full-time, permanent position at Al Futtaim Motors Toyota, requiring a five-day work week with two days off.
As a Cost Clerk you will receive, process and administer all departmental job costing in accordance with the retail and distributor process requirements and guidelines. You will return unacceptable job cards to the appropriate department with clear and concise reasons for the rejection of the job card for costing.
What you will do
Complete the daily process, review, verification, and processing of job cards.
Ensure that productive working hours are claimed against each repair type and minimize lost productive hours.
Ensure that each job card meets the distributor recommended operational programs to ensure correct procedure and Kaizen adherence.
Review each repair to ensure the approved manufacturer's repair time is claimed and processed.
Ensure correct use and allocation of repair codes on all job cards.
Escalate all non-costed repairs over 72 hours to the Service Manager.
Conduct weekly reviews of Work In Progress to ensure all Job Cards are processed and costed.
Required skills to be successful
Should have a basic qualification or High school graduate.
Good knowledge in MS Office especially MS Excel.
Person must be self-motivated and self-driven.
Must be a UAE National with family book.
About the team
The role will report to the Service Manager and you will be working in a busy workshop environment wherein you will be dealing directly with Service Advisors, Controllers, Foremen & Technicians on a daily basis.
What equips you for the role
Administration or back office experience would be preferred but not mandatory.
We are looking for someone with excellent English & Arabic speaking skills who has an engaging personality, is confident meeting people and passionate about beginning a career in sales.
Customer orientated, with decision making and problem-solving abilities.
