The vision for this role is to leverage your expertise in advancing agile practices at scale and coaching abilities to institutionalize Chubb's operating model and enable leaders and teams to have a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities
Manage a team of coaches, holding coaches accountable towards business outcomes. Ensure that coaches embrace accountability to deliver business value by tracking, executing, and communicating progress against relevant objectives, and remain synchronized with their team in that accountability.
Manage and be a role model to the Agile Coaches. Own the engagement model for how coaches are deployed to and engage with teams and Domains to drive the operating model.
Evaluate coaches against pre-defined rubric.
Define blueprint to improve team maturity level across all elements of rubric.
Ensure coaches focus on execution.
Maintain strong 'on-the-ground' presence across teams-Domains in order to have sufficient support and oversight for all coaches.
Drive the criticality of ensuring backlogs for team's map to business objectives and track delivery towards them.
Engage with senior leadership to foster active participation in team-Domain ceremonies and focusing on strategy and execution (e.g., pro-actively running the QBR process, problem-solving in leadership syncs).
Support scale-up including recruiting and on-boarding of coaches.
Define coaching requirements, communicate, and recruit coaches.
Maintain a standard approach for on-boarding.
Coach and support the product owners, team members, and others in learning and living effective Agile practices, lead or facilitate Scrum ceremonies, facilitate gradual team adoption and independence through transparency, retrospectives, interventions, and adaptation.
Help drive the team to bring value forward leveraging a wide variety of techniques including business objectives, MVP mindsets, test and learn, dark launches and more.
Deeply understand the business and technical context in which your teams operate so that you can help them understand what solutions are more valuable than others and help deliver that value into customer's hands efficiently and with high quality.
Drive the end-to-end solutions your teams are supporting. This includes high quality technical solutions that are maintainable and scalable as well as robust business process guides to aide swift and efficient adoption of changes.
Remove impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, test data, solution integration, shift left testing, coordination with other teams) and foster close cooperation and communication across all team members, to ensure the teams are functional and productive.
Continuously seek to improve team velocity and performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving blockers while coaching pods to raise and remove impediments on their own.
Increase the overall agile maturity of the organization by nurturing agile practices and principles; instill Agile mindset in teams through conversations, coaching, and role playing.
Work with other members of the Agile practice to promote a Chubb agile culture, define the playbook while balancing the focus on people over process, and support the deployment of Chubb Agile playbook across the organization.

Experience scaling Agile across multiple programs and establishing governance mechanisms.
Able to identify and flag impediments related to test data, test environments, source code management and dependencies on applications within a solution ecosystem.
Experience in Agile Development, with specific Agile Coaching experience, or scrum master experience.
Knowledge of multiple Agile techniques and software engineering excellence (e.g. XP, CI/CD, DevOps, Kanban, Scrum, Design Thinking, OKRs, continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous deployment).
Education
Background in software delivery, technology, and/or digital product operations and delivery.
Agile coach or other agile certifications (CSM, ICE-AC, ICP-ACC, PSM I, PSM II, SAFe).
