The Deputy Country Manager, Indonesia will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the data centre operations within the country. This leadership role involves driving business growth, managing operational efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction, and leading a team of professionals to achieve the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the data centre industry, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Indonesian market.
The key responsibilities are outline below:
Manage joint venture setup and partnership to expand the company's presence and capabilities in the Indonesian market.
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of datacenter build project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Oversee all aspects of the company's datacenter operations in Indonesia, including infrastructure management, security protocols, and service delivery.
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets in alignment with corporate objectives.
Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Develop and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Manage financial performance, budget allocation, and cost optimization initiatives to maximize profitability and ROI.
Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Uphold the company's values, culture, and ethics, fostering a positive work environment and promoting diversity and inclusion.
Skills for Success
10+ years of experience in data centre operations, infrastructure management, or related fields
Proven track record in data centre construction projects and operational delivery
Deep understanding of the Indonesian market, regulatory landscape, and business culture
Experience with joint ventures, partnerships, or M&A in a tech or infrastructure context
Strong executive leadership with experience managing senior teams and cross-functional groups
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (and ideally Bahasa Indonesia)
