Responsibilities

  • Research and develop robotic software packages and tools for industrial applications using the ROS 2 framework, including capabilities in Robotics Middleware Framework (RMF) multi-agent path planning, simulator design, perception, and motion planning.
  • Drive application-oriented robotic research towards industrial automation using ROS 2. Develop front-end UI for interoperable robotic systems for manufacturing and logistics applications.
  • Implement systems engineering approaches by translating business requirements into system requirements, validation methodologies, and developing software testing and validation strategies in accordance with industry standards.
  • Execute technical projects, including planning, technical documentation, write-ups, and presentations.

Qualifications

Qualification & field of study: Degree in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.

Min. years of experience: 0-3 years.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in C++ and Python and TypeScript programming.
  • Proficiency in React framework
  • Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with ROS2 and its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Knowledge of robotics concepts including manipulation, navigation, fleet management, and/or simulation.
  • Experience with software systems integration, including architecture and communication protocols.
  • Experience with networked systems design and implementation.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience applying or researching AI technologies in robotics.
  • Experience managing stakeholders from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Web development experience (e.g., React framework).
  • Strong systems design skills.
  • Experience developing software solutions using ROS libraries.
