Job Opportunity

Facilities Maintenance Specialist

  • Environment Management: Ensure optimal functionality, comfortability, security, and safety of the premises.
  • Cyber System Administration: Oversee hardware and software of the ICT System.
  • Support Services: Assist in implementing and maintaining infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and tools, in compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Scheduled Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely repairs.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate and oversee repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.

Safety Protocols:

  • Safety Procedures: Implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of worshippers, staff, and visitors.
  • Hazard Identification: Regularly inspect the premises to identify hazards and address them promptly.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor security systems and equipment, such as alarms and surveillance cameras.

Event Support Services:

  • Assist in setting up events held within the premises.
  • Coordinate with event organizers to ensure facilities meet event requirements and provide logistical support as needed.

Inventory Control:

  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials needed for facility maintenance and operations.
  • Procurement Process: Procure necessary supplies and equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Communication and Liaison:

  • Liaison Role: Liaise with leadership, staff, and volunteers to understand facility needs and priorities.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate effectively with external contractors, vendors, and service providers to coordinate maintenance and repairs.

Supporting Roles:

Premises Activities:

  • Premises Initiatives: Participate in whole-of-premises initiatives and activities, such as special committees and cluster-based programs.
  • General Administration: Provide general administration for the unit and perform duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
