**Job Overview**

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Editor to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Publication Development: Commission, acquire, and develop new academic publications in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics).
  • Editorial Management: Manage the partial editorial process from manuscript submission to publication.
  • Business Growth: Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of existing focus areas.
  • Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with authors, reviewers, contributors, key advisers, potential textbook adopters, and colleagues.
  • Market Awareness: Maintain market awareness and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to marketing and promotional activities as needed.
  • Representation: Represent the organization at conferences and events.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Pure and Applied Sciences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must possess initiative, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic international environment.
  • Prior experience in academic publishing is preferred.
