(What you will be working on)The Strategy and Plans team plays an integral role in shaping the future of GovTech. We work closely with the CEO and his leadership team to shape GovTech’s long-term vision, develop strategies, and drive critical initiatives across the organization. The Assistant Director / Senior Manager, Strategic Planning will be a trusted leader – leading high-visibility, critical projects that make a lasting impact on the future of GovTech. Tapping on strong problem-solving, great interpersonal skills, and a positive can-do attitude, you will develop and drive strategies that enable GovTech to deliver on its vision. As you grow in the role, you will manage and coach junior team members and be responsible for their development and delivery. Shaping long-term vision & direction: Define and develop the organization’s future growth and success. This may involve issue identification, prioritization, strategy development, resource allocation, and establishing metrics to track progress Leading strategic planning: Work with the CEO and leadership team to drive organizational objectives, identify emerging opportunities, and recommend course corrections as needed Aligning and communicating strategy: Ensure clear communication of the organization’s strategy to stakeholders, and maintain alignment across all levels Cross-functional collaboration: Lead and influence cross-functional teams, building partnerships to drive initiatives to successful, on-time, and on-budget outcomes Navigating challenges: Anticipating and addressing obstacles to keep initiatives on track and aligned with organizational goals (What we are looking for)7-10 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, start-ups and/or venture capital Proven track record in developing and implementing successful strategic plans: including working with cross-functional stakeholders, managing conflicts effectively Strong communicator: Distills complex ideas into clear strategies in slides and writing Collaborative: Cares for others; able to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds Excellent interpersonal skills: Able to build strategic partnerships within the organization Solid problem-solving skills: Critical and creative thinking; able to see the big picture quickly Personal drive and excellence: As seen from high performance in your past positions Adaptable: Comfortable with ambiguity; pro-active in seizing opportunities in a dynamic environment GovTech is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse voices and perspectives, as we believe it is key to innovation.
