Quantum Cryptography Specialist
Overview:
Our organization is seeking a skilled cybersecurity expert to lead the development and execution of an organization-wide migration strategy to quantum-resistant cryptography.
This role will guide the transition from traditional cryptographic systems to post-quantum secure alternatives, while collaborating with external partners and industry groups to shape a coordinated approach.
The successful candidate will design evaluation frameworks and tools to guide migration efforts, develop technical policies and best practices for adopting quantum-safe technologies, and advise senior leaders on cryptographic risks and mitigation strategies.
- Lead in-depth assessments of cryptographic systems and infrastructure, identifying weaknesses and quantum-related risk exposures.
- Develop technical policies and guidelines for adopting quantum-safe technologies and mitigating emerging cryptographic threats.
- Collaborate with industry partners and organizations to establish aligned approaches to quantum-safe deployment.
- Advise senior leaders on strategic implications of quantum-safe technologies for organizational resilience.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years focused on cryptographic systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Deep competence in cryptographic protocols, key management, and PKI.
- Solid understanding of software, network, and system architecture.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent.
