Job Opportunity: Patent Attorney Trainee in Singapore Due to increasing demand for technology protection in Singapore and the region, our team in Singapore is seeking Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineers / Physics to train as Patent Attorneys. Candidates will be considered for a Patent Engineer position and should hold a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Communications, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Physics. Having a PhD, Master’s degree, or equivalent related work experience will be viewed very favorably. Strong English language communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to understand diverse technologies are essential. The role involves all aspects of patent work, including drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications both in Singapore and internationally. Successful candidates will receive training towards becoming a Singapore Registered Patent Attorney, with attractive remuneration at qualification level. Candidates must be committed to a long-term career (typically 4-5 years), including studying outside of office hours to pass necessary examinations. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates.
