Resident Engineer in Singapore at Logicalis
As Architects of Change, Logicalis' focus is to design, support and execute clients' digital transformation by uniting their vision with their technology expertise and industry insights. The company, through its deep understanding of key IT industry drivers such as security, cloud, data management and IoT, can address customer priorities such as revenue growth and business, operational efficiency, innovation, risk and compliance, data governance and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite support to troubleshoot and remediation for following technology: Network Infrastructure, Wireless connectivity and Printer Driver Issues
Assist in the following technology: System Infrastructure, Meeting Room Booking System (app), Door Access System (Key Card, Facial Scan, QR Code), Skype & Microsoft Exchange and Printing Facility
Provide technical assistance and support for users
Conduct routine maintenance
Minor network changes and setup (e.g., new SSID creation, configure new)
Training (Policies & End User Computing Policies)
Review of user access to ensure dormant/obsolete user accounts are removed or made inactive in the system in a timely manner following appropriate authorization
Responsible for opening and closing of support tickets when applicable and providing timely updates to helpdesk personnel and customer for support cases that have been allocated to you
Work closely with various team of engineers for troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Role is opened to fresh graduates (NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, Etc.)
Graduates in relevant fields of studies (IT, Infocomm, Com Science, Etc.)
People with 0 to 1 year of IT related working experience are welcomed to apply.
Looking for candidates with a strong interest/passion to learn and grow in the technology space.
Candidate should be customer oriented and able to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Candidates should be willing to perform after office hours activities and standby duties.
Existing knowledge/certification for network operations including network, wireless, security technologies will be an added advantage.
