Lead Fullstack Software Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Fullstack Software Architect to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of fullstack systems, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.

  • Design and develop fullstack systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Develop and review robust APIs, ensuring they meet security and performance standards.
  • Champion secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, UI/UX designers, and infrastructure engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design fullstack systems.
  • Develop and review APIs.
  • Mentor junior developers.
  • Ensure alignment with cloud best practices (AWS or Azure) for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of hands-on development experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years leading software teams or projects.
  • Strong proficiency in fullstack development (frontend and backend).
  • Proven expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Solid knowledge of secure coding practices and experience in DevSecOps toolchains.
  • Proficient in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiar with agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering systems for the government sector, especially those involving integration with government authentication services.
